Hello, my name is Mary Scroggs. I’m blind because of being run over by a drunk driver at 11:20 on July 18th 1994 on the sidewalk in front of CAT world headquarters – in ’97 there were resolutions that went thru the House (HR122) and Senate(SR292) to make our currency ‘tactile’ – identifiable by touch or feel – the Treasurer who was making changes in the currency ignored these resolutions – With the millions of Americans who are blind and are getting macular degeneration it is TIME for the Treasurer to make our currency identifiable by feel. We are one of the few counties in the world that do NOT have currency identified this way – Please take a moment and send your representative the following message.

Dear Representative – the Treasurer is changing our currency and forgetting the blind – Resolution HR122 and SR292 went thru in '97 isn’t it time to make those Resolutions into a bill and force the Treasurer to make our currency identified by feel.
